Active Media Products has announced the new line of IDE / PATA Flash DOM (Disk on Module) Compact SSDs for embedded applications and servers.
Based on MLC flash, the flash module DOM (FDM) uses PATA / IDE interface and is available in two types, type-1 with 40 pin female IDE connector and Type-2 uses 44-pin connector.
Both types are available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB and offer capacities up to 80MB / s read and 38MB / s write speeds. Prices are $ 63 in 8 GB, $ 85 for 16GB and $ 159 for 32GB All these documents are available on Amazon.com.
