The Asus 1201PN seems very similar to the popular Asus Eee PC HD video 1201N, but has been updated with the latest processor and “Next Generation Ion (aka Ion 2) graphics card. The major drawback with the previous netbook 1201N was the battery life it is because he could not compete with other netbooks on the market because of its high power drain HD graphics.

The Asus Eee PC 1201PN adds the letter “P” to his name to symbolize the use of the new Intel Atom N450 processor 1.66Ghz Pine Trail. The Atom 330 has been swapped for the new N450 energy more efficiently, and the new graphics Ion. The Asus has a pixel 1201PN 1.12 1366 x 768 (720p HD) display, with 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and HDMI output for connection to HDTV.

The Ion 2 Nvidia graphics such as netbooks for that purpose to solve this problem, while being faster, it has the technology that Nvidia Optimus automatically switches to the dedicated graphics Ion if necessary, and return to the standard Intel when they are not.
