A new model of the Eee Box nettop computers from Asus seems to be coming our way soon. The new Asus Eee Box EB1012 Wii maintains its dimensions of height, but now allows the use of two next generation of Nvidia graphics Ion full 1080p HD video playback and HDMI output. The EB1012P Asus is the successor to the Eee Box EB1012 last year.
It also uses the dual core Intel Atom D510 1.66GHz, 2GB DDR 800MHz Memory (1x2048MB). The HD capabilities, with HDMI and multichannel audio from S / PDIF 5.1 EB1012P. Asus make the idea for use as a HTPC / Media Center unit, which is quiet and consumes very little (<40W).
Additional features include 6 x USB ports, 250GB hard drive 2.5 inch eSATA port, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a VGA output (with HDMI), 5-in-1 multi-card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, optional Bluetooth, and Windows 7 Home Premium Edition. Price and availability information for EB1012P is currently unknown. We still wait for updates.
