Garmin Introduces New garmin Edge 800 GPS with touch screen for cyclists who want accuracy and simplicity when monitoring their statistics and location for shopping and recreation. The device features a 2.6 inch screen with a simple touch interface.

With a high sensitivity GPS fix that quickly acquires and maintains satellite reception and information directly from GPS satellites, the Edge 800 accurately tracks speed, distance, time, GPS position, altitude, calories burned, climb and descent. It also supports ANT + technology for wireless synchronization with compatible power meters and others as Garmin heart rate monitors and speed / cadence sensors. The Edge 800 also includes a barometric altimeter to pinpoint changes in elevation.

The Edge 800 supports a microSD memory card, allowing users to charge U.S. TOPO 24K the highest level of topographic detail and City Navigator mapping option. It comes with a low profile, quarter-turn mounting that fits easily on the frame or handlebars with rubber rings tight-gripping.
