Taiwanese brand, Genius has released a handheld digital video camera, namely Genius G-Shot HD501. It is a robust device enclosed in a durable and sustainable water (meets IP43 specifications). Genius G-Shot HD501 unit is equipped with 2-inch bright LCD, MP3 player, an SD memory card slot (up to 16GB), a rechargeable Li-ion, and an HDMI port.
Genius G-Shot DV HD501 camera is equipped with a megapixel CMOS with autofocus, which can record 720p HD video format (1280 × 720 pixels) with H.264 compression. In addition, the Genius G-Shot HD501 can capture images with a maximum of 3 megapixels.
The package includes strap with compass and application software to edit video quickly download YouTube and Facebook. The cost of the new Genius G-Shot HD501 is not reported.
