At the CTIA Wireless 2010 (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA), U.S. mobile operator Sprint and HTC has introduced new smartphone, called HTC EVO 4G. It supports CDMA EV-DO Rev A and WiMAX networks. Previously, the HTC 4G EVO has been known as the HTC supersonic. HTC EVO 4G phone is running 2.1 with HTC Android Sense and features Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor.

The HTC EVO 4G sport a 4.3 inch touch screen with a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels (WVGA), 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash autofocus and the ability to record 720p HD video format (1280 × 720 pixels), a forward facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB of onboard memory, a microSD memory card slot (8GB card included), 3.5mm audio jack , accelerometer, HDMI and microUSB, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g and GPS.

There is a crutch at the back. There is no word on price, but now available for pre-registration on the website of Sprint.

  1. Only things of issue are 1.) alarm clock had no pop up to dismiss or snooze the first time I used it. It’s already been fine since then but wow- that was interesting. Had to turn it off to end the song! 2.) One day, all my imported (at Sprint store) contacts disappeared. Only the ones I had hand loaded directly remained. I lost ~ 113 names, numbers that I have no plan how to get back. They are not in my gmail or anything..
