There was a time when Windows mobile used to rule the seas smartphone. Then came Symbian but it is a different story. It was shown that the touch screen to all challengers ready as Windows mobile is simply too big to turn around quickly and catch the wind again. HTC seem to disagree, however, and doubts to jump ship. They have not abandoned the cause and the HTC HD Mini is living proof.
We all know there is more to a modern smartphone (touchscreen that) sheet. Mini HTC HD certainly has pedigree, but the verdict will affect the performance. Windows mobile has been known to be very demanding on the processing power of a phone, and the interface Sense probably takes its toll too. Our first impressions of the Mini HD were altogether positive, but it must still pass the test of a full review.
