Intel made the next generation of Intel Atom and official platforms and even highlighted a new generation of ultra slim netbook. We already see the new dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 (with the support of DDR3, and a 8.5W TDP) appear 1015N Asus Eee PC, which is due in Q3 this year. But it is good to see that it is official.
They also announced the "Oak Trail" platform. The SoC supports HD video and HDMI output, and enable thinner netbooks with the battery life and more models without a fan. Sounds great, but we will not see it until next year. Well, we still wait for updates.
