LG Remark LN240 QWERTY Green Phone

U.S. cellular operator Sprint and LG Electronics have introduced a mobile phone, known as the LG Remark LN240, which was the announcement yesterday. According to Sprint, LG Remark LN240 is made in the “green” concept, it is satisfied Sprint eco-criteria and the latest addition to a growing portfolio of Sprint devices environmentally friendly. The LG LN240 Note model is fully compatible with the EU RoHS Directive.

LG Remark LN240 is made from recycled materials by 19% shell model (87% of its elements will be sent for treatment after recyclable) packaging is fully recyclable packaging material containing 87% post-consumer (PCM) PCM 100% Chainring phone in the box. Information on in-box materials are printed in soy ink. Finally, it was reported that the LG LN240 Note phone is used low levels of polyvinylchloride (PVC) and brominated flame retardants (BFRs).

LG Remark LN240 features a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, music player, stereo Bluetooth, a microSD memory card slot (up to 16GB), and 1.3 megapixel camera. It is easy access to Facebook and Photobucket. The LN240 is available on the market through the Sprint network, 9 May 2010 for free with a service contract after two years and another $ 50 mail-in rebate, and $ 19.99 instant rebate (taxes and surcharges excluded).
