Medion launches new netbook Pine Trail on the European market, known as the Medion Akoya E1222. It seems renamed MSI Wind U100 is one of the best netbooks currently available at this time. Akoya E1222 netbook is a brilliant and elegant design with a Chiclet keyboard.
Medion Akoya E1222 netbook is powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor Pine Trail, 1 GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive Medion Akoya E1222 netbook Pine Trail features 10-inch display with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, touchpad with multitouch support, three USB 2.0 ports and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition. Medion Akoya E1222 netbook will debut in Germany in March 2010 for a price of 299 Euros (about U.S. $ 408).
