Motorola has announced the Motorola AP6511 802.11n access point wallplate (AP) to extend the 802.11n wireless LAN installations for multi-room quickly. Designed to “Cache-In-Sight”, the AP6511 is about the size of a deck of cards and mathes the decor of any room.

The AP6511 uses CAT5 wall plate in the wall / 6 cabling and can be installed in minutes, according to Motorola. The plaque works in both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz or 802.11a support 802.11b/g/n LAN n / wireless antenna 3.5dBi gain and double packs of 2 × 2 MIMO expand performance and range of legacy and new 802.11n clients.

The compact Motorola AP6511 wall plate will be published in Q4 2010. We don’t know yet about the price.
