The new droid is getting a makeover, which I think is less attractive than the original DROID or Milestone. The DROID 2 with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, like the original droid, but with a new improved layout. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and runs the Android 2.2 and includes Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and 3G Mobile Hotspot Service.

The Motorola DROID 2 sports 3.7-inch 480 x 854 capacitive touch, camera 5 Megpaixel with dual LED flash and video recording, built-in aGPS / GPS navigation with Google Maps, Bluetooth2.1 and WiFi connectivity. The Android phone gets 8GB of onboard memory and a microSD card pre-installed 8 GB of memory.
The droid 2 offers HDMI output and supports DLNA. The Motorola DROID 2 smartphone supports CDMA / EVDO networks. It is available for 199.99 dollars, after a $ 100 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract to new customers.
