While Verizon Wireless is the new DROID 2, Cellular South has announced the arrival of the Motorola stage, simply a new badged Motorola Droid. Unlike the international version Motorola Milestone, this version supports CDMA celluar south. Milestone Motorola Cellular South is available for $ 149.99 after $ 50 mail-in reward card and a service agreement for two years.
Powered by Cortex-A8 550MHz processor, Milestone will Android 2.1 with screen Live and the full suite of Google applications like Google Maps, Google Talk and Google Maps navigation Beta.
The phone has 3.7 inch 854 x 480 capacitive touch, CrystalTalk Plus filter background noise and improves voice quality, a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Bluetooth, WiFi and microSD card slot. It comes with an 8GB memory card.
