MSI Wind U135 Touchpad Netbook

MSI Wind range of netbooks is joined by the latest model of the MSI Wind U135. As with all netbooks announced this year MSI Wind U135 has Intel’s latest Atom N450 processor that consumes less energy and improves performance slightly. The MSI U135 is available in two models, one with a 160GB hard drive, and the second with a larger version of 250 GB. This model goes head to head with the Asus Eee PC by 1005PE, which also includes the processor N450 at low prices.

The U135 undermines 1005PE slightly and starts at just $ 309 ($ 329 for the 250GB version) and comes with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, a screen 10-inch glossy 1,024 x 600 LED-backlit and Windows 7 Starter Edition. Other features of the MSI Wind U135 include a 1.3MP webcam, VGA, 3x USB 2.0, a 4-in-1 Card Reader and Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n.

It will be available in a number of color options, Black, Silver, Ruby and Sapphire. Apparently, the Wind U135 has a color film printed cases prevents smudges and fingerprints, we assume (and hope). Amazon has all four color models available from $ 309!.
