Nvidia, after a long wait, has officially launched the world’s high-end graphics cards that use architecture Fermi, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 Series. The two top models of Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 series GeForce GTX 480 are and GeForce GTX 470.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 GPU specifications 9.5-inch/241 mm long, 56 texture units, a 320-bit memory interface, and a TDP of 215W. It is more powerful with 1280MB of GDDR5 memory @ 3348 MHz, 448 Cores CUDA, a frequency of 1215 MHz shader, and a GPU clock of 607 MHz.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 GPU ships with 10.5-inch/267 mm long waist, 700/1401/3696 MHz GPU / shader clock / memory, 480 Cores CUDA, GDDR5 1536MB of VRAM, a 384-bit interface, 60 texture units , and a TDP of 250W.
Both Nvidia GeForce GTX 400 series have CUDA, PhysX, and 3D Surround Vision (3D through three screens) technology and support for DirectX 11. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 are equipped with HDMI, dual mini-DVI output, dual-slot coolers, and two PCIe power connectors (two 6-pin on Nvidia GeForce GTX 470, a 6-pin and one 8 pine-Nvidia GeForce GTX 480). The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 400 series will be available in two weeks, scheduled for April 12th, 2010 for the recommended price of $ 349 for Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 and $ 499 for Nvidia GeForce GTX 480.
