Following the BD-C6900, Samsung is quietly rolling out new 3-D Blu-ray Samsung BD-C5900, Samsung BD-C6800 and Samsung BD-C7900. All players support 3D Blu-ray and Blu-ray, DVD and CD. They can also stream Netflix videos and play audio and video files from USB storage devices.
Samsung BD-C6800 and C7900 BD-all have 1 GB of internal memory, supports BD Profile 2.0 and WiFi connectivity while the C5900 lack of internal memory and is just a WiFi-ready. As the update of the C6900, C7900-BD offers two HDMI and two USB 2.0 ports. The C6800 has analog 7.1 channel audio while the C5900 and C7900 offer only two channels.
The three players support DTS / DTS HD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD audio codecs and DVD upconversion to 1080p. Samsung BD-C5900, C6800 and C7900-BD-BD are available on Amazon.
