Samsung W880 AMOLED Phone

Senior Samsung W880 ante with world’s first 12 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. With a dial equipment and zoom lever for real it does feel like a real camera and you could find yourself in trouble finding the phone under the skin digital camera. However, while South Korea is bound only W880, just give us a foretaste of things to come in the form of rumor Samsung M8920, which should make our way next year but with Wi-Fi and GPS on board.

The W880 from Samsung has some features of high-end imaging too – tracking autofocus touch 720p @ 30fps video recording, 3.3 “AMOLED capacitive touch widescreen with WVGA resolution. This is not something you see every day on camera and it is of first order in mobile phone terms. Even the degree of control over how a picture is taken for consumption beats cameras, camera phones let alone. Now, keep in mind that we are previewing a prototype here and it is a prototype of a phone designed for the South Korean market and although it does tri-band GSM and UMTS support, they are for roaming only – the AMOLED is 12M in South Korea and South Korea only. Thus, the Samsung W880 12M AMOLED came to be – it contains all the mechanical parts of a camera point-and-shoot, but it still has enough room for parts telephone.

This is not the first phone to do this, but the first 12-megapixel and 3x optical zoom value and xenon flash about putting it on par with a camera and point- -shoot. Well, there is an international version coming early next year and could actually land in a store near you. It will cover all the same, but decrease the T-DMB TV receiver, which has few outside South Korea in any case, it is most convenient to exchange Wi-Fi and GPS.
