Sony Japan has announced its new handheld GPS navigator or a portable navigation device (PND) for the local market, called Sony NV-U35.
Sony NV-U35 New is equipped with 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels (QVGA), sealed chassis that meets industry specifications IPX5. Dimensions of Sony NV-U35 GPS navigation are 112 × 17.8 × 79mm and weighs 176 g.

The Sony NV-U35 GPS navigation is also equipped with 8 GB of internal memory, Memory Stick Pro Duo card slot, USB port, a mono speaker 1W, digital compass, and cyclo-computer. Sony NV-U35 also has a special attachment that allows to browser on bicycle handlebars (see photo).
Sony NV-U35 GPS can be used as a music player and video files it supports MP3, AAC, eAAC +, WMA and ATRAC (audio), MPEG4 and WMV (video) and JPEG (graphic). Sony NV-U35 GPS navigation will be available on the Japanese market starting March 13 for a price of $ 410.
