Texet Russia launched its brand new satellite navigation system, called Texet TN-700. It is made of metal and has a 5-inch touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 480 × 272 pixels. The TN-700 Texet browser pre-loaded with one of the two browsers – Navitel Navigator 3.2 or CityGuide 3.7. It can easily connect to mobile phone and use as a modem (eg, updating traffic information) and Texet TN-700 as a speaker system for mobile devices.
Texet TN-700 has features GPS navigation calculator, universal converter, e-book reader, multimedia player (MP3, MPEG, MPG, ASF, WMV, AVI, JPG, GIF, BMP and PNG) and some games. It runs on Windows CE 5.0 and powered by a 468MHz ARM11 Mediatek. Texet TN-700 GPS Navigation is equipped with Bluetooth DUN (Dial-up Networking Profile) profile and handsfree.
In addition, the Texet TN-700 GPS navigation packages video input (possible connection to the car rear view camera images), 2 GB of internal memory, 64MB SDRAM, 32MB Flash ROM, microSD card / microSD slot (up to 16GB), a 3.5mm audio jack, miniUSB port, and a 950 mAh battery. Dimensions of Texet TN-700 are 138 × 82×12.5 mm.
