Thecus has announced its new line of network video recording (NVR) systems, Thecus NVR System. Such systems are in fact multiple NVR devices into one: a video recorder system, a system for real-time monitoring unit, a storage networking.
Thecus NVR system are available in desktop and rack mount form factors. The models include NVR42 4-Bay-Bay NVR55 5, 7 and NVR77 Bay Rackmount 1U NVR46 with four drive bays and rack-mountable 2U NVR88 with 8 bays.
These systems supports multiple RAID modes, and are supplied with software to monitor NetAV Observer. But we will wait for more updates.
